This particular basement was not being used whilst offering lots of potential for creating a basement conversion and more besides.

This basement conversion was originally intended to be converted as a basement cinema conversion, but the extra available space also allowed a basement games room and a bar to be incorporated in the design.
As you can see in the photographs, this basement conversion incorporates many features that allow it to maximise the use of the available space and create a wonderful feeling of spaciousness.

The incorporation of a recessed ceiling lattice with built-in lighting help to create the impression that this basement conversion has natural skylights.
Smooth vertical pillars separate the cinema area from the remainder of this basement conversion. Vibrant wall colours lend depth to the room, creating a feeling of spaciousness. |

This view shows off the curved bar at the back.
Mirrors in the bar area help to give the feeling of more space.
The remaining area was left open to accommodate a pool table.
The use of soft pastel colours and light coloured carpeting helped to create an area in which it is a pleasure to play and relax.
No longer a basement space, but a space to enjoy hour after hour. |
